Our expertise in Geophysical and Hydrographic surveys has allowed
us to gain extensive experience through conducting surveys worldwide.
Specialising in detailed near shore and estuarine shallow water studies,
we aid design and construction of outfalls (including pipeline routes and
landfalls), assess changes in river channel bathymetry, provide essential
data for numerical models, and monitor dredging activities.
Providing bed depths and water levels for
determining sea bed profiles. The data is often used for the construction
of numerical models, selecting routes for pipelines and outfalls and navigation
charts. Comparisons with historical surveys can also allow assessments to
be made of seabed mobility.
Using
sidescan sonar, investigations can be undertaken of the seabed surface which
allows understanding of bed sediments. This provides useful information for
dredging and bed mobility studies.
By determining the sub-strata beneath the seabed, data can be
provided for geotechnical engineers to assist with the selection of pipeline
and outfall routes as well as the methodology for laying them.
